Ingredients:
8 Birchbenders Protein Waffles
1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
2 eggs
1 cup egg whites
1 tsp vanilla
4 tsp brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
Peanut butter for serving (optional)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray an 8"x 8" baking dish with cooking spray
Cut waffles into 1" pieces
In a medium sized bowl, beat eggs. Add egg whites, almond milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and brown sugar. Mix well
Add waffle piece to the bowl and mix until all of the pieces are saturated
Bake for 40 minutes or until cooked through
Cut into 4 even pieces. Refrigerate for up to 7 days
When ready to serve, melt 1 Tbsp peanut butter and drizzle on top (optional)
*This recipe is more savory than sweet. If you prefer sweet, sub fruit or syrup for the peanut butter topping
